Emotion Simulation Technology

bullet1 Overview

The EMIR emotion system was developed to make it easy for software engineers to build programs that act as if they have human emotions. Applications include computer games, aircraft crew management training systems,  the creation of "virtual humans", and online survey systems.

The mathematics of emotion has traditionally not been well understood. I & A Research Inc., in cooperation with the Professor Emeritus of Psychology at UCLA, Dr. Albert Mehrabian has developed a well-defined set of software libraries that uses a sophisticated model of human emotion for measuring emotions that provides a wealth of functions for manipulating emotion-related data.

The system has been awarded a U.S. Provisional Patent for it's unique method of deriving emotion terms from input data, and it's ability to manipulate emotion statistics in real-time, which allows applications such as real-time games, avatars, appliances and control systems to respond with emotion.

I and A Research Inc., provides the tools and consulting services needed to help companies add emotion to their products.
