Emotion Simulation Technology

bullet1 FAQ

bullet2 Why would anyone want computer programs to be emotional?

Imagine a news anchorperson reading in a monotone voice, and you've got some idea of where computer systems stand today in terms of their presentation of information, they're hopelessly dull and vapid.

People instantly respond with emotion,  to emotion.  If your stock broker tells you that he or she is worried that you're about to lose a lot of money, you will react quicker to that information than if it's presented as:

IBM International Business Machines Corporation 115.000 -11.78

Therefore, a computer program that tells you it's worried, frustrated, happy, calm, relaxed, will elicit an immediate and easily understood response.

For better communication, entertainment, interpersonal training, analyzing people's preferences, or even therapeutic reasons, emotion software is about to make a huge impact in every market!
