Tasks (also called Activities) are the central organizing concept of a Gantt chart.
In JCVGantt, when connected to MindManager...you might have some trouble understanding
the
nomenclature because MindManager refers to each branch of their visual map as a "Topic", while
in
our Gantt, we refer to "Tasks".
(To further confuse MindManager 2002 users, what Mindjet now calls a "Topic",
used to be called a
"Branch"!)
Our suggestion, is don't worry about what it's called.
Just think of the Task, Activity, Topic, Branches, Goals...whatever
you choose to represent on
the gantt chart... as simply "stuff that we need to schedule and show on a timeline", and
you'll free
your mind to invent new uses of the gantt.
