Why Export?
It's hard to believe,
but some JCVGantt users don't own Mindmanager!
Sometimes you might
want to simply save the Gantt to an independent file format so that
you can simply "double-click" on the file and see the Gantt.
You may also have
BizTalk Server's or other data conversion services that might benefit
from having project management information stored in a nice, clean XML format to pump to
and from your corporation's databases.
How to Export
1. On the File Menu,
select Export
2. Now select to
either XML or JCVG format.
At the current time,
both formats are identical, but this may change in subsequent versions.
Both formats are
displayable in the Gantt program but the JCVG format can be "double-
clicked" from your desktop to open immediately.
3. Name the file
whatever you'd like and click SAVE.
You may now access
this file using the Standalone version of the program which comes
free with JCVGantt for MindManager.
