The Field Name Grid shows you all the fields in the system. You are free to change
the "Preferred
Name" to anything you'd like.
For example, you might change "Task Name" to "Goals" or "Incidents".
This will cause the Project
Grid to change it's displays.
Regarding the "Drop Down Menu in Grid" column -
- If an item has a grey background,
you cannot edit it.
- The percent done row has the option
to show either the Mindjet-style % done icon in the
Project Grid or standard % text. You can toggle between these using a drop-down
combo that appears when you select this cell.
- All other cells in this column may
be edited using "comma separated values".
Comma-separated values such as "1,2,3,4,5" will show up in the Project or
Resource Grid as drop-
down combos using whatever values you've entered.
Using them can help speed up your data entry significantly!
