An amazing feature of JCVGantt is the ability to synchronize color in both the MindManager
and
Gantt views.
This effectively allows you to color-code sub-projects automatically.
Changing the coloring of any "task" or "high level" task automatically
causes all sub-tasks to follow
the same color.
That said, you may still highlight any sub-task with a different color.
Use color broadly and effectively.
It's the difference between a boring chart nobody reads and a chart people put on
the wall.
Color Ideas
Try displaying...
- Sub-tasks that are ON-TIME in varying
shades of green.
- Sub-tasks that are ON-TIME but almost
delayed in varying shades of yellow.
- Sub-tasks that are DELAYED in varying
shades of red.
That will get your teams
attention, fast!
